The LCGB's 52 Strong Roll of honour 
Organising an event like the Euro Lambretta Jamboree involves dozens of individuals generously donating some of their time and also offering financial support to help make it a success. That includes not just many dealers but also 52 clubs affiliated to the Lambretta Club of Great Britain. At this year’s Euro, the LCGB set out to obtain the largest-ever number of clubs sponsoring trophies in a wide variety of different categories, including the “historic” prizes such as the Mike Karslake and ‘Lady Lambrettista’ awards, the custom show, plus the gymkhana and even a special Dyno Challenge. Why so many trophies? Part of it was so that we could offer official recognition to the scores of individuals, both here in the UK and from around the world, who make the Lambretta life what it is. But another reason was that we in the LCGB recognise that without the continuous support from scores of clubs around the country, our own scooter scene would be much poorer and weaker. Sponsoring a trophy, in that sense, becomes both a way of acknowledging the people we give a prize to AND those generous enough to donate it in the first place.
